He was playful, but he could become serious on a moment's dime, that was something she'd have to get used to. It seemed to be a trait that several of them shared, but she'd never guess who had what.

"Don't worry over it. You looked stressed and in pain. Everyone adjusts over time. It just takes some longer than others," she glances away, "don't lose hope about whatever you are missing. Time pauses back home. You aren't missing anything." She meets his eyes with a sad smile, one she can't even make her pretended joy, her masked sadness coming almost fully to light. "If the past is anything to go off of, he'll probably show up here in the future, if it be a year later, or less."
