"I've worked with exhausted before - I'll remind you to take a day off after so you don't get sick tomorrow like a good Team Leader," she chuckled a bit, giving Maruki a trusting nod for now. If he knows his limits, then he knows them. "But in exchange, you better let me know when you're feeling bad enough to need to back out. No point in putting the effort to research when you're too distracted to make coherent notes."

It's all terribly reasonable. Infuriating, she's sure. But she's sure that she can lead him and make sure that he's safe throughout this trek, it's her responsibility to do so.
