"I think I saw your name on the board. And a few negative comments," she laughed a little lightly. "But nothing that explained your research. I wouldn't mind hearing more after we find a good stopping point here," Hamuko added. Obviously if there was something harmful going on, she'd want to find out - but multiple timelines, multiple possibilities, she didn't know what this man's experience was yet.
With that same smile, that same willingness to hear and understand, she met his hand and returned the handshake.
"Don't hesitate to press forward more here. Even if this challenged me here, if someone currently here created a place like this, I want to be ready and able to be there for them too. So it's good training for both of us."
