Maruki… he’s an anomaly to me. I wonder what compels him to act like this when he could very easily take Ichinose's route and consider his research fully wrong and discredited before all of you. Because tbh that's precisely how Ichinose is getting away, we don't actually know what she's thinking but dad's instincts are going haywire and it might not just be because of bias But maybe that is exactly what is going to drive Ichinose to seek Maruki's refuge and company. ugh moral dilemmas smh
