A lot can happen over a month. Guernica knows that very well, and knows that even better thanks to what happened over this last month.

A gaudy-ass brainwashing bird bent on killing everyone, the Phantom Thieves of Hearts befriending the memory of her Big Sis, and helping her remember the reason Guernica paints. Then there was all that red sky and blood and bones shit going on, and Joker (She knows it was him, it had to be. Joker, Crow, Kasumi, and the rest of his crew by his side--) fighting off that big ass false god with a demon of his own.

Wouldn't be the first time for him. She wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't the last.

But after that... well, she's been doing her usual thing. Spreading her art, loud and proud, for the world to see. 'Hey, hear us! These are the voices you're tryin' to smother! You got that?! We're still here and we're still fightin'!'

The only odd thing is that the calm after the storm's been a bit too calm. Christmas Eve felt a little too sugary sweet, like something out of a cheesy Christmas movie. Normally there were some of the poor folk having it a bit rough, and she'd do something for them around this time, but everyone was just... happy. Nothing for her to do. Weird as hell.

And now... now there's something even weirder. A strange, blue room with a bunch of doors, a strange old man with bug eyes and a long, pointed nose talking about dreams and mind and matter and who knows what else.

"The hell's all this?"

It's not to say she doesn't get that it's cognitive or based on imagination or whatever. Oh, she gets that much. Considering her time in The Streets, she sure as hell knows it's cognitive. But this place is weird. Like what the hell, who is this old man? He says his name is Igor or something? He wants her to make bonds or some such?

Like. OK? Sure, she can, uh, do that she guesses? Not like she hates literally everybody. She's an outcast of society, but she's not against talking to people now and again. Just as long as she remains anonymous. Though, depending on how long she's here she's gonna have to use her name eventually--

...Wait, when's she going to be allowed back home? There's a way out, right? Freaking-- OK. Time to get some info.

--

1. Option 1: Considering there's a bulletin board, people have a lot to say. Naturally, Guernica had to check it out. Of course, it only begs more questions.

"What the hell...?"

OK, so... There's a lot of Jokers and Crows here? But they're all going by different names. And there are vampires and fairies and stuff. And...

She's leaning over, squinting at the board with a hand to her chin, and you can practically see a question mark over her head.

"...There's a lot goin' on here, huh? All right... So what I'm getting here is 'use common sense' and 'memorize who's who'."

Not to mention all the details about Joker and Crow and their... love life? That's none of her business, frankly, but the creator of the board must've thought it would be needed info. Or maybe they're just a gossip, who knows.

2. Option 2: Across the span of what feels like one night, various buildings in Tokyo, particularly the tallest and largest of them, and the governmental buildings-- are all covered with large, colorful and loud graffiti. To those who are familiar with certain news broadcasts and keep up with news regarding art... Is that the work of Guernica?

You may also find a girl in paint-spattered clothes, and long, messy blue hair walking the streets of Tokyo. Her hands are in her pockets, and she just walks along like it's nobody's business.

She's got a smile on her face, feeling pretty satisfied with herself. After all, she made a lot of practice pieces in one night! Although... it's kind of a shame she doesn't have a big amount of people to show them too.

She sighs, crossing her arms as she considers it.

"...Is anybody even gonna see 'em...?"

3. Option 3: To change it up a little, Guernica decides to explore a bit, and to see beyond the cityscape. To visit a world she's never known... The quiet, small town life of Inaba.

There are no super tall buildings or loud crowds or anything. There's, instead, the flow of the river, the wind gently blowing through her hair, and the sound of the leaves gently rustling in the trees.

The town is quiet and it looks rather lonely, and it's honestly pretty weird. It's not the life Guernica's used to, that's for sure.

...She can't help but think about Luca, and what she would think about a place like this.

so I’ve been thinking. I know how cognition can affect the tvs, but what else can it affect here? I’m really curious! The problem is I have no idea where to start when it comes to a “formal study” or what to even study period.
I’m open to ideas and suggestions! I’d also love to hear what’s already been observed/studied. Thank you for the help ^_^!!

There's one in particular I'm not understanding.

Why I would need to Boruto run if I tried to visit Dimension 52? I can tell I'm missing something very obvious this time.

...What. What is he talking about. Why is he looking around at the nonsense that the Velvet Room's internet is spouting.

Yusuke's vision slowly came into focus, taking in the surroundings that clearly were not his room. He gazed around, questioning where precisely he was, but he couldn't also help but take in the peculiar aesthetics of the room. Music came from a place he could not discern as he observed, noticing the quintet of doors that stood. Still, Yusuke came to attention as a chuckle was heard, and he focused his gaze to the unusual man he had only met once before, some months ago, at his desk in the room's center...

Introductions were had, the room, along with the doors that stood, were explained to him. "So such a place exists still, even after we destroyed the Metaverse... I must say, I am surprised this room could stretch out so far." He chuckled to himself as ideas, inspirations, began to swirl in his head. "I wonder what places I could find to spark inspiration for my drawings..." The sheer number of opportunities was staggering. "And yet still, I will not be alone in such endeavors, if what you have said is indeed true."

An idea made itself glow bright in his mind, and with it, perhaps he could handle two issues with one. "If you do not mind, I would like to make a piece using inspiration from this room, if at all possible. If this place is a central point as you've explained, perhaps I can come to know the others here as I partake in my work.  However, I do need to procure the materials to do so..." And then the most obvious thing made itself known, the greatest hiccup of them all, the one thing that makes all artists stop in their tracks on some level.

"...I just realized. I don't have any money."

It has been several days, a week, perhaps a month at most since Briar has been seen in the Velvet Room. It could be assumed she found herself back home, safe and sound...

And yet, to no one's surprise, she has found herself here once more... though she looks a tad different. She's still wearing her glasses, though she has her hair pulled back into a red ribbon while letting most of her hair rest down her back still. A combination of her and Kasumi's hairstyles.

Her clothes are more breezy, perhaps indicating it's summertime. She's wearing a cute, white blouse with a blue skirt with matching sandals.

But the one thing that may stand out the most is the air about her. She doesn't have as much nervous energy... or even the cheerful energy she would have at times. No, she seems almost lacking in energy at all, perhaps even seeming distant. A hint of seriousness lingers around her, and the look in her eyes don't seem quite as bright as before. No, she seems... older. More mature. And yet... hardened slightly.

What could have happened?

--

Option 1: Briar finds herself at Leblanc, simply sitting at the counter, drinking a cup of coffee. She stares at the cup with a quiet, almost unreadable expression on her face as she does so.

She lingers on it, lost in her thoughts. How long has it been since she's been here...? Some time. It feels like it was so long ago, and yet... here she is. It's all the same. Perhaps not much time has passed here, she thinks to herself.

She wonders where everyone is. Perhaps they're not awake yet, given she's arrived rather early in the morning, it seems...

Option 2: The next place she finds herself is Jazz Jin. She sits alone at one of the tables, simply waiting for her drink. All alone, she finds herself lost in her head once more. She finds herself thinking back on the times with Shirogane-- or rather Akechi, as he demanded to be called during the last series of battles they had to face.

She hopes he's OK after that... He disappeared after they faced Maruki, and none of the Phantom Thieves have heard a single word from him. There's no telling where he is or what he's gotten into. They're... still friends, right? He still knows that, right...?

Option 3: And last, but not least, Briar finds herself at the Underground Mall in Shibuya, walking through it as she finds herself in front of the flower shop. All of the beautiful flowers available... Especially the roses... She stops, finding herself eying the red roses with a quiet and distant look in her eyes.

She thinks of them. Kasumi... Ren... Roses are linked to both of them... It always comes back to them, doesn't it? And yet, her expression is vaguely distant.

So it’s come to my attention that I am likely in need of a codename of some kind, however, from what I have seen all of my preferred choices have already been taken.

Since brainstorming on my own has yielded nothing, I’ve decided to open up suggestions from… anyone I guess.
So if anyone has any codename suggestions, or even a theme direction I can lean towards, it’d be greatly appreciated!

Sumire is doing her best on her own in this strange new world she's found herself in. She still doesn't entirely understand it all, but one thing she does know is that she needs to figure out how to do things on her own.

And so she will.

With a brave face, she steps out of the home she's been staying in, and into the light of the sun while carrying some laundry. Where to start, exactly? Well... She supposes her first matter of business is to try to figure out how to do laundry.

Option 1: Sumire finds herself at Yongen-Jaya's laundromat, looking around with a bit of confusion. That's weird... She was just near her house a few minutes ago, and yet, she finds herself here after a bit of walking... Oh well! At least she's found what she needed to find! Now it's just a matter of figuring out how to set all of this up.

So she sticks her laundry in the washer... which she needs a chair to reach properly. Then, she pauses, eying all of the buttons. Which one is she supposed to press? And wait, she needs the soap and stuff too, right? Let's pour in some of this over here, and... ACK! It all spilled in! A-And the lid closed suddenly... And the washing machine somehow activated...

Sumire is watching the washing machine with a very worried eye. It's not going to blow up, is it...?

Option 2: After getting the laundry sorted with and taken back to her new home, Sumire decides that she's going to try to gather ingredients to cook with, once again finding herself at Junes. She goes inside, and begins looking around the overwhelmingly large halls and high up ceiling... She's also pushing a basket that's bigger than her, and it's all around a ridiculous image seeing this young girl trying to grocery shop.

She starts at the vegetables and fruit, and... wait, no... Didn't she hear her dad once say that this should be later in the trip...? You don't want the cold and frozen goods to get hot...? Umm... OK, so move onto the not so cold goods, and then-- Wait, there are so many brands! Which ones are good? How do you know which ones are the best ones? She just decides to start grabbing everything as a result. Too many is better than none, right?

Soon enough Sumire's basket is filled to the brim with ingredients, and it's getting too heavy for her to push.

Option 3: And after that chaos gets dealt with, Sumire finally finds herself just taking a break, sitting at the Flood Plains in Inaba, kicking her feet as she just looks down with a sad look on her face. Everything she's been doing today has been a disaster... Why? She tried her hardest, and yet...

She raises her head to the setting sun, watching as it goes further down... She doesn't like being alone. It's lonely. And scary. And if something goes wrong, then you have no one to turn to.

...She misses her dad. Her sister. Even if she's kind of angry at her sister, too, for being so much better than her. She just wishes that she wasn't alone right now.

Is there something in particular about pancakes? I've been told it's an 'inside joke' of sorts, but I seem to be out of the loop. Could someone enlighten me on this?

I mean I do enjoy them, but I wouldn't go as far as to say they're my favorite food or such. I'm not even certain I have a favorite food.

It just seems so strange, as though I should know, and yet I have no idea in the slightest what this could be referring to.

Any clarification would be helpful.

It's been over a month since Ren had arrived in the Velvet Room and over a week since Raven's birthday party. He was able to avoid a bad sunburn and had a good time, as well as getting to enjoy some chicken blood. True to Raven's word, the stores started to sell juice boxes containing blood again so he doesn't have to resort to buying steaks to get his blood. Though he still does so 'cause he happens to like steaks.

Now that his situation has settled, he hasn't really come up with something to do as he doesn't need money or go to school. Still, he tries his best to pass the time until something interesting happens.

Lyssi found himself wanting to learn more. He's learned a lot since he's arrived in the Velvet Room, but there's still so much more to learn, and as such, he's decided to take a nice, long walk around the various areas of the Velvet Room to see just what he can find.

After all, he's learned about fishing and handling prey, as well as the fact that the orbs are stealing peoples' likeness without permission and thus need to be eliminated, but surely there's more, correct?

Just what will he discover today?

Option 1: Through the streets of Tokyo, Lyssi finds himself staring up at a particular restaurant. Big Bang Burger... It is said that there is a challenge there, a burger that will send you to the very stars themselves. Granted, Lyssi can only eat small amounts at a time and he doesn't really get much enjoyment out of it (What is taste, he wonders? He can register different ingredients, but they do not 'taste' different, as far as he can note).

But he finds himself perplexed. How does a burger send you to the stars? How does it rival outer space? He stares at the advertisement on the window for the Big Bang Challenge with a blank stare.

Option 2: As Lyssi steps up to the shrine in Inaba, he looks up at the building with that same blank stare of his. A shrine... a place of worship and prayer. From what he understands, students come here in order to pray for good grades.

Perhaps he should pray to be more human?

And so he takes a step closer... and continues to stare.

How does one pray?

Option 3: In Iwatodai, Lyssi has found himself staring at the flowers at Rafflesia. All of them vivid colors, all of them beautiful... but he simply stares at them with that blank expression. They just... look like plants to him. Products of the Earth, bees gather pollen from flowers such as these.

...Why do the cognitive people gather them? Why are they sold? He doesn't understand.

He picks up a rose, staring at it as it pokes at one of its thorns. Why does it have thorns? To protect itself from potential threats? That much is obvious, but...

"..."

...He's not sure. It feels as though there's something more to it, somehow.

Across Tokyo, a certain duo can be found doing various different things...

Dove walks alongside Jinx (His world's Ren) with a smile, turning to him with a somewhat curious look on his face. Jinx eyes him slightly from the side, not turning his head yet.

After all, it all feels so... so wrong, Dove smiling at him like that and it being entirely sincere. He had grown accustomed to and respected the Akechi he came to know before the world had changed. Even after everything that happened, he still can't believe he's gone...

...No. He can't think like that. He promised he would try to help him regain his memory. He has to try, even if he has his doubts. He wants to see the old Akechi again, and... he wants to know if he's right. If their world really can be fixed.

Soon enough, Dove speaks up, snapping Jinx out of his thoughts.

"Well, where do you have in mind for our first destination?"

Oh. Right. Where to go first. Let's see...

--

Option 1: Jinx takes Dove to the first place that comes to mind... that being Penguin Sniper over in Kichijoji. It's a simple choice of location, being they bonded a fair amount over playing pool there. Dove finds himself approaching the pool table, gently placing a hand on it as he turns to face Jinx.

"...I vaguely remember this. I switched hands after I got a break ace."

Jinx blinks at that, rubbing the back of his head a bit. So... he really does remember some things? That's... good. He thinks? Or maybe it's bad, he's not even sure anymore...

"Yeah. I noticed because we shook hands before. At the TV station."

Dove pauses, raising a finger to his chin in thought.

"...The TV Station... It was where we first met, I believe... I don't remember you there, but..."

For now the two are just standing there, taking up space. Not playing a game or anything. The air is awkward and tense.

Option 2: The aquarium is the next place to visit, as Jinx decides that visiting Jazz Jin will be later in the evening. Dove finds himself looking up at the variety of sea life with a quiet respect as Jinx begins speaking again.

"You remember anything?"

Dove shakes his head, turning to look back at Jinx.

"No, I can't say I recall anything... What happened here?"

Jinx can't help but be a little disappointed, but... well, he can't expect Dove to remember everything. If he did, then they wouldn't be here at all, most likely.

"You invited me here. Said you got tickets from a co-worker. We... ran into a friend of mine."

Dove pauses, trying to think back on it. He's trying to dig deep into his memories, through the headache that's arising.

"...I..."

The air between them is incredibly awkward as Jinx averts his eyes as Akechi tries to think.

There's a small girl that appears in the Velvet Room. One wearing glasses and an elementary school uniform. She seems to be about eleven years old, staring a bit nervously at Igor as he explains where she is, and what she's supposed to do.

"...U-Um..."

She holds her hands close to her, not quite able to shake off her worry. Sure, some of the things Igor's saying should relieve her worries, like time not passing while she's here (W-Wha?!), but this is still so much to take in?!

And where's her big sister? Where's Kasumi? They were just out getting ice cream after a big gymnastics event... W-Where did she go...?

"..."

Her head turns towards the doors. Maybe... Maybe Kasumi was here already? Maybe she just went on ahead... Yeah, sometimes she gets a bit excited and rushes on ahead, but she never goes too far without her little sister.

...Sometimes she wishes she could take the lead though...

So Sumire approaches one of the doors, and slowly turns the door knob...

Option 1: Sumire finds herself in the familiar setting of Tokyo, particularly the Shibuya area. It's so overwhelming being here alone, with all of the people passing her by! But she tries her hardest to push through, and... wait... They're just letting her through? It's almost like they're parting as they need her to, instead of her needing to push...

She looks up at one of the adults, and something about them seems odd. The look on their face is cheerful, but their eyes are glazed over... It's a bit unnerving, honestly.

"..."

But Sumire continues wandering, trying to call out for her big sister.

"K-Kasumi...?! Are you there?! Kasumi!"

Option 2: The next door Sumire tries is the door to Inaba, which is a lot quieter and more lax than the door to Tokyo, thankfully. It's calm, peaceful. Such a small town, and definitely not what Sumire is used to. Could Kasumi be here...?

As Sumire wanders, she finds herself outside Junes, where she realizes... she's actually a bit hungry... The two of them never got ice cream like they were supposed to, and now it's probably time for dinner. Oh, what's she supposed to do, she doesn't have any money...!

Option 3: The last door she opens, the one to Iwatodai, is around sunset. She's found herself at near the theater and flower shop, quietly looking around with curiosity and worry.

"...Kasumi?"

But her eyes are drawn to the various, beautiful flowers... and as much as she wishes she could have one, again, she has no money. Ah, if only she had her allowance with her...

"...They're so pretty..."

She knows Kasumi would love the roses in particular... Of course she would, they're her favorites. Meanwhile her own are the violets, which... well, it's a bit obvious they're her favorites, considering her name.

...Maybe she can ask the lady how much they cost? Ah, but... she's too nervous...

Sumire is in Junes, and she's on a mission. That mission? Finding the perfect gift for one Raven. After all, she can't go to his party empty-handed! That would be rude, and she can't stand the thought of that...

"..."

But the more she looks around Junes, the more she realizes... What on Earth should she even get for the kid? She doesn't really know what he likes. She hardly knows what her Akechi likes. So... what should she do? Surely Junes has something he would like, right? It has everything!

"Oh... What should I get...?"

Right now she's found herself at the food court... again. She's passed through it multiple times, trying to find the right gift. Honestly, it's a little frustrating.

Ren, the sleepy one in his pajamas (though he has grabbed some glasses now, he feels weird walking around without them at this point), has no idea what to do about his situation. He still feels somewhat dazed, but now there's this sense of... hopelessness weighing on his shoulders now that he remembers what happened. That he knows that he failed as a leader.

His eyes are somewhat hazy as he just wanders Tokyo, head somewhat lowered. He's conflicted about going to Leblanc again. The last time he was there, he ended up going to his room and sleeping for... well, a very long time. But it's all he wants to do, it feels like. It's easier than facing his failure. Facing reality.

...

...He's not sure where Arsene is. Perhaps he's gone, having faded away with his Will of Rebellion. After all, he can't make up his mind. He couldn't decide on a path to take, and that's perhaps worse than making a choice.

...What's he supposed to do?

Option 1:Inokashira Park is a lovely place. It's always good to go there, relax, and clear your head, and Ren does just that. He sits at a bench, watching as the cognitive people go by, and he just... tries to relax. Tries not to think about it all. It's hard not to think about his failure, but the cool air and bright scenery helps a little. He takes it in, as much as he can.

Option 2:He manages to work up the nerve to search for Akechi, specifically the one known as Dove, and heads to Jazz Jin. The atmosphere is painfully nostalgic, feeling as though it's been ages since he was here last. He steps in, and awkwardly sits at the table he and Akechi usually would sit at. What's Akechi doing now, he wonders...? Is he all right...? Is he happy...? He hopes Akechi's happy, at the very least. After all, if he had chosen to fight Maruki, then Akechi would have...

Option 3: A trip to Shibuya would usually get his brain going. He'd always be checking out the stores, trying to find something useful or cool, or eating at Big Bang Burger or working part time or... well, anything, really. The place has so much to offer, and it's lively. It almost makes him feel alive again. For now he just walks through the streets of Shibuya, wandering without a particular destination in mind.

When Dove woke up this morning, he felt... strange. He felt sluggish, heavy, his head was pounding (Without questioning Maruki's reality, at that...?!), he felt warm, he felt cold... A lot of things that didn't really make any sense.

'How odd', he thought to himself. 'Why do I feel so... awful?'

He could have stayed in bed. He could have just rested up, and gotten back up and at 'em the next day, or whenever he started feeling better... but really, he wouldn't be Akechi if he wasn't stubborn.

So he got up, and decided to try to go about his daily routine...

--

Option 1: He decides to visit Leblanc first, trying to get a cup of coffee for the sake of waking himself up. Unfortunately for him, his stomach curls as he begins brewing the coffee... Ugh, why does it make him feel worse when he smells the coffee...?

Unfortunately, he's slow as molasses so if anyone else wants a cup, then that may be a problem...

Option 2: He's passing through the Velvet Room, looking practically like a zombie. He's pale, he's clammy, and yet he still keeps going. He opens the door from Tokyo, and as he reaches the door to Iwatodai he simply stares blankly at the doorknob. He... needs a second, he tells himself. His head's spinning a bit as he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.

...What's he even trying to accomplish, anyway? He's not entirely sure, he just feels terrible. It's not like it's time to go to Tartarus anyway, it's way too early in the day for that...

Option 3: He's next to the subway as the various cognitions pass him by, completely oblivious to how he feels a gust of wind could knock him over.

He can't lay off his training. He knows that. He knows that, and yet... he feels like absolute garbage. He's holding his phone in his hand, staring at it with a glazed look in his eye. Can he really fight like this? It's a horrible idea, especially when he's alone... He also knows that.

He's duty-bound to continue his training though, so he gets ready to click the Meta-Nav on his phone... This is a horrible idea.

...

...?

Ren opens his eyes for the first time in what feels like an eternity.

"...Huh? Where...?"

He was somewhere else a moment ago, wasn't he? Or... wait, what was he doing last? He... saw Akechi, he thinks? He's not sure though, it's actually rather fuzzy...

But he snaps to attention when he hears a familiar voice. Igor...? Wait, he's in the Velvet Room? It looks way different... and those doors over there are new.

Igor says something about making bonds, and Ren just kind of blinks, staring back at him with a blank stare. Is this a dream? He went back to sleep, so dreaming would make sense. But... at the same time though, something deep inside of him seems to deny that train of thought. Like he really is awake...

He steps further into the Velvet Room, looking around a bit as he does. What should he be doing, exactly? Honestly, he's not sure... He feels like he should be doing something very important, but he can't remember what it is...

-

Option 1: He finds himself lingering at one of the doors, slowly raising his hand to grab the door knob, but he hesitates. He can't help but find himself distracted by this whole thing. Why did Igor bring him here? Is it really just to make friends? He thought he already did that, but...

Option 2: He stares blankly at the conspiracy board, trying to take in all of the information on it. There's a lot here, and he's honestly having a hard time wrapping his head around it at the moment. Is he... sure he's not dreaming? Because this all sounds too ridiculous to believe.

Option 3: He finds himself in Tokyo, particularly in Leblanc. Without even thinking, he starts getting behind the counter to make himself a cup of coffee. Maybe that'll help get rid of the brain fog that he feels...
