So as well as everything else that Maruki could do in the future, he might keep Ren's Akechi—or Ren himself, but the Leblanc location suggests that it would probably be Akechi—trapped in an eternal sleep for some fucking reason. Cool. Awesome. Ren wants to claw off his own skin just thinking about it. And that's not even getting into how Ren, in this scenario, apparently forgets Akechi exists—
