It's Valentine's Day, and that means just one thing for the inhabitants of the Velvet Room: chaos.

And chocolate, possibly. Or even something else? Or perhaps you're spending the holiday entirely by yourself?

Magpie's a mean one, isn't he? And yet the look in Trickster's eyes is a strange one to explain. Not quite fondness, but something adjacent to nostalgia, perhaps?

She nods along though, definitely not disagreeing with the comment.

"The worst case scenario is that he insults me, and and we fight. Best case scenario he's begrudgingly impressed by the chocolates, and a never-ending rivalry begins."

She cracks a grin at that.

"Either way, he's getting chocolates whether he likes it or not."

She's kidding, of course. Or at least it seems like she's kidding.

Breaking away again to stir what he hopes is a masala, he returns to lean on the stacks of paper. "You want him to fight you."

Not that he hasn't seen enough of the other Goros and Rens to see how they tend to interact. And not that he doesn't enjoy clashing with his own Ren. Who would look really good in that dress, Frog's trying not to think.

The look on her face grows... difficult. She's still smiling that playful smile of hers, but it weakens. The lights in her eyes dim just a bit in comparison to how bright they were just a few seconds before.

She's been called out about something. Something a little to close to something she's been trying to ignore.

"...I don't not want to fight him. I just think it'd be fun. It's been a while since I've gone all out with someone, you know?"

So she says. The smile seems a bit more real when she's actually speaking.
