It's Valentine's Day, and that means just one thing for the inhabitants of the Velvet Room: chaos.

And chocolate, possibly. Or even something else? Or perhaps you're spending the holiday entirely by yourself?

"I just wanted to look handsome for you," he grins, sheepish. "I also made chocolates for you guys!"

"Your efforts paid off." Oh, that blush isn't going anywhere. "Though you're always handsome."

Well, no sense in delaying. He removes his backpack and reaches inside, placing his own little heart-shaped box on the table.

"Shiro and I made some for you as well."

Ren grins. "Great! Thank you guys so much. I love chocolate!" He straightens out his cufflinks and accepts the chocolates. "Wanna have some dessert before dinner? Or dinner first?"

Um... That is a good question. Very good.

"I suppose we should have dinner first, so we don't make ourselves sick."

On the other hand, chocolate is more fun...

Chocolate is fun, but... "Ok, Wormwood! C'mon out!"

"Of course, my dear self."

On cue, Wormwood -- similarly dressed in a tuxedo with tails and boutonnière to match -- pops into existence in the chocolatier, holding out a large metal dish with a cloche covering. He gives Shiro a quick kiss to the cheek, then sets it down on the table and moves to enjoy Shiro more fully. "Happy Valentine's day, my loves."

Oh, hello! Shiro's cheeks turn a pretty pink when Wormwood appears, but he happily returns the kiss before scooting closer. "Happy Valentine's day to you as well, you handsome devil."

Raven eyeballs that dish, chin in hand. What could it be?

"I have expectations to fulfill," he purrs. Wormwood opens the cloche to reveal a giant platter of sushi, sashimi, and everything in between -- thin slices of fish artfully arranged on perfect piles of rice and held together with crisp nori. He sets the cloche aside, leans over to kiss Goro, and settles in to Shiro's lap.

O-Oh. Wormwood kisses... Not what Raven expected, and his cheeks burn so bright. "T-Thank you..." It all looks so lovely. The arrangement alone is so artful, really.

Shiro gladly accepts Wormwood into his lap, looping an arm around him and nuzzling. "You did a wonderful job, both of you."

"We can't take all the credit, unfortunately..." Wormwood hums, straddling Shiro's lap, using his long, dark claws to pluck a piece of sushi with chopsticks for Shiro.

"Yeah, we had plenty of help." Following Wormwood's lead, he leans forward with a piece of sashimi for his boyfriend in his chopsticks, too.

Oh. Shiro's cheeks burn with a blush, but he gladly opens his mouth to accept the offering.

Raven, just as pink, follows suit. There's a lot he could say here, but words are failing him, so, um. He'll just awkwardly grab his own chopsticks to offer Ren some sushi in return.

Ren happily accepts the sushi from Goro, following it up with a kiss.

Oh. More kisses. Okay. They can do that. However sheepish he is, Raven reciprocates, while Shiro takes a turn offering sushi to Wormwood.

This is very different from ice skating, and certainly different from sharing chocolates as he had originally envisioned.

But that's okay. It shows Ren cares.

Though, after breaking the kiss, a question bubbles to the forefront of his mind. "...After we eat, would you like to see the aquarium?"
