Hehehe-- Hamuko had to cover her mouth to even try to stifle her giggles at the immaturity of the foam art for Kou. Honestly, the artistry of it was almost as impressive as just how gorgeous her special rose was!

("One of the timelines"? Hmm...)

Still!! The latte art for hers... god, it was so pretty, what an incredible talent. Hamuko almost felt too guilty to drink it and ruin the pattern. But it smelled so incredible... gently cupping the coffee cup in both hands, enjoying the warmth on her fingers, she took a slow and contemplative sip of her coffee. And oh... it was deeply complex and flavorful, even with the sweetness and cream. It was a dessert without being cloying, dancing on her palate gently, and for a few minutes she was just... absorbed in tasting it, in drinking it and appreciating it.

"I am soo mature," he affirms as he picks up his own cup and sets it down on the floor, now preparing his little jug to pour himself another design but before that- oh well, Corvus is staring. Kira is amazing at stare contests so he watches, content with keeping up his innocent facade.

His smile did ease up as his shoulders sunk, satisfied to see both of them liked the coffee. He bows with ease, a showman's demeanour flourishing as he picked up his own cup and waited for either of them to shuffle into the booth so he take a seat. Or not. He doesn't mind standing either. "I figured from our conversations that you two would have sort of different tastes soo I experimented a little bit with her cup and I brought out a sweeter profile in the other, hehe."

Though maybe not, not after the whole debacle with the tapes.

"Cleansed your palletes yet?" Considering Corvus had just smoked and Hamuko had a spicy chocolate.

Kou rolls his eyes at Kira's dramatics, but continues sipping his coffee without comment. He narrows his eyes a little when Kira mentions making his coffee sweeter... ugh, but he's already said it's good enough, so he can't crawl back now.

"It's fine," Kou replies, taking another sip of the coffee. It is quite good... mm. Maybe Kira's is even better than Ren's, but he's definitely not telling him that.

"This is probably the best coffee I've ever had! But that's not a crazy high bar... I've really only started trying it at like, Changhall cafe."

It's so good, it has Hamuko swinging her feet a little happily. "This is almost as good as Shinji's cooking can be. So pleasant...!"

He giggles at Corvus's blatantly neutral answer before turning over the cup and taking a sip of it, one hand around to take in the warmth. "You are going to make my heart soar with your fines and alrights."

At Hamuko’s obvious compliment Kira did get caught off guard a little, keeping the grin threatening to surface up because he might look like an idiot. "My efforts paid off then, I am happy to see it."

Leblanc's coffee is to die for to be fair. He wasn't even that much of a fan until Sojiro made me wear the apron. "I could teach you guys someday if you want."

Kou raises an eyebrow.

"You'll regret saying that, you know," he hums, taking another sip, "if I actually bothered taking you up on your offer."

"Let's do it!!" Hamuko pepped up, excited for it. "Corvus, learn with me!!! And I'll teach you guys how to make any kind of desserts you like - I'm really good at truffles, sweet potato fries, recently learned how to do cakes from scratch... we can make a little club of it!"

Akira returned an eyebrow raise at Corvus's silent challenge. "Oh yeah? You think you scare me?" he grins as he once again slides towards Kou's booth to bother him- bumping shoulders before grinning back at Hamuko.

"Did you say truffles? That sounds great- I love the dark chocolate, the ones coated in cocoa! Or those with strawberries!"

Setting the cup down he claps his hands together in a prayer. "Teach me your ways sensei-!"
