Raven sits down, and silence falls between them. Only Raven's breaths, and the noises of the festivities around them are heard, but for a moment, Falcon says nothing.
When he does speak, it's quiet.
"I won't say it didn't... sting," he says slowly, haltingly. "That'd be a lie."
And if nothing else, his Shadows taught him a thing or two about lying to himself.
"I understand why. But... I'm sure you heard what my Shadows had to say from Crow, Hiro, and Magpie."
