Maruki and I have found a nice space to set up a nursery.

It's got a comfortable amount of space and I've added a chair and a speaker - since music is supposed to be quite important for growth, according to studies. I'm already looking forward to taking care of them in here, even with the inevitable hard work.

It'll be my first foray in quite a while raising something that isn't an AI! ʱªʱªʱª (´ᗢू`∗)

I'm sure they'll keep me quite busy.


All of that said, I've never furnished a nursery before. Any advice on furnishing the space would be appreciated.

Right? But I guess it would be anticlimactic if things just were straightforward all the time. Then again, people tend to innately bias their memories on the extremes - saves the brain some work and effort not bothering to try and recall every time you brushed your teeth or got on the train, right?

Brushing your teeth and a tooth falls out, I'd say. Or your gums are exceptionally bloody.

Did you know that about 40% of the population, roughly, has nightmares about their teeth falling out?

Nope! It's one of the more common nightmares. I used to have the ones where I'd bite on something like a candy or an almond and my tooth cracked instead of the food. I always woke up feeling nauseous because I remember it feeling like gravel was in my mouth.
