NETWORK: The HAVA group chat
Rest assured- its not a spam notification. No, you haven't haven't been added to a cult group (hopefully not considering the person who created the GC).
Everyone who is added has admin privilege rights but Takuto has decided he will take things further this time.
A single text appears at the top after he's added some of the numbers scrapped either from the network or through the velvet room- however much was allowed anyway.]
Good afternoon, everyone. 😊
I thought it might be helpful—and honestly, a little fun!—to set aside a dedicated space for the more... aged among us. Whether it be shadow weapons, demon birds or gods. No offense to the younger folks, of course. But sometimes, certain conversations require a not so thorough investigation from the general populace.
Please feel free to treat this as your own private lounge. Whether it’s research talk, life advice, or simply venting about back pain—welcome. That said- I would also like to mention that some of us who are humans would probably appreciate not being called a sandwich so please avail some caution there!
I understand some people might not want to get along with others but there are certain little things I think we are all missing out on-! I would love to speak with some of you in person too if you would allow me.
Ah well, we will see how this goes!

The hell? How'd you get my number, anyway?
no subject
Probably should have mentioned that from the start

What you skip in the drinks you can make up for in food - after all, the best part of being here is getting to eat the expensive stuff without stressing about the bill. Yakiniku, here we come...!

"Aged"? I'm 21, not 200.
no subject
Haha, I wasn’t sure what word would best accommodate both human and non-human here so I used the closest neutral term I could come up with 😅
But those sure are the golden years. How have you been? Settling in well?
no subject
"Golden years" makes it sound even worse. It sounds like you wanted to contact people who were at least out of university.
But I'm doing all right, thank you! Settling in. A bit weird to have all of Oxford essentially to myself, but I'm coping.
Trying to think what it is you want to hide from the kids. Lots of them seem smart. I bet they'd be interested in your research.
[Not even trying to be pointed. But he does suspect something's going on.]

I'm Sam. Sam Quinn. I got here recently. Apparently I'm responsible for the new door at the end of the new corridor in the Velvet Room.

Here's a little list I compiled for your reference
- Shujin Academy's canteen: Has one of the best melon pans I have had in a while.
- Ichigaya Fish Centre: I used to go fishing here last year and the best part? You also have the option to grill your catch >:) Cool, right?
- Bikkuri Boy: This is one of the more famous diners which also serve coffee and steak. Literally called Nostalgic Steak but I always ran out of money to really try it.
- Big Bang Burger: If you want to look for something more western they have decent burgers! A little bit of a trap for me to get out of shape (more than I already am haha)
- Tsukishima: A place me and the teachers used to frequest occasionally for after-parties. It serves some wonderful Monjayaki.
- Wilton Hotel: It has a fine buffet place. I think you will quite like this one!
- Naokyu Aoyama: A fancy ramen place close to Shujin Academy. I saved up money till I could afford to treat myself with it but with no money issues- this shouldn't be a problem >:)
This is not solely for Quinn-san here though. There are a dozen drinking izakayas I have frequented which I think all of us can go to- just to hang out and socialize like Kuon mentioned.

Crossroads seems like a fun time. It's no Ozzie's, but I like the decor.
Jazz Jin has live music on weekends, for a given definition of 'live'.
I'm always down for karaoke if anyone knows a good spot.
This is a bit random but there used to be this little omurice place in Sanya that I've been meaning to try and rediscover, I hope it's there still. Best rice I can ever remember.

Are burgers the same in Japan? I suppose that's a weird question. You probably don't know any more than I do.
