"V-Valentine's...?" he repeated, dumbfounded.

There was no understanding in his eyes, as if he forgot the very existence of Valentine's Day.

"Yeah?" Ken knew what that was right? Jay looked him over. "Do you not know what that is?" he asked tilting his head just slightly, smiling like a cat who had just caught a mouse.

Ken was just staying there, jaw slightly ajar, not moving.

Ken Amada has ceased functioning.

"Valentine's day is a holiday. People exchange gifts for each other and show how much they care about each other." at least that's what he read on fanfics and what his mother told him. Now was the perfect opportunity to show Ken how much he cared about him.

"I- I know what Valentine's Day is!" he eventually sputtered. "It's just... it's just..."

He took a deep breath to steady himself, then resumed in a quiet voice.

"It's just that with everything going on, I completely forgot about it."

"I guess there is a lot going on, I hadn't considered forgetting about it." He smiled.

"I'm still here though, you still have something to come home to," he thought that sounded cool enough.
