Throughout the week, Hamuko has messaged the vast majority of people she's met so far - and eagerly invited them to come meet at Inokashira Park starting at 5pm.

You're invited to an evening sushi-party-turned-hanami-picnic-party! I've organized a bunch of cognitive chefs and performers to come to that park on the listed date/time.

I've sent this to you because you were part of one of the three teams that helped with fighting Fatalis or rescuing Falcon and Wolf (or are Falcon and Wolf themselves!!) - we've all busted our butts a lot lately, so I think we deserve to have something nice together too!

Of course, the party is open if you have any +1s or more. But before spring turns into summer, let's celebrate what we've all accomplished together!

The Venue...


Inokashira Park has a lovely river and trail and a phenomenal collection of cherry blossom trees. They're in the tail end of their season, filling the air with petals like snowfall.

In a large open area, Hamuko's arranged a ton of picnic blankets for people to claim and sit down on, though each blanket is HUGE to accommodate people sitting with as many people as they can handle! There are cozy pillows for sitting on too, stacked neatly to be borrowed.

There's a truly humongous row of tables laid out with an impressive amount of sushi presented. With a few trucks nearby, it seems there's a few sushi chefs making fresh platters of it to lay out through the night.

Similarly, there are food carts along the trails if you're not in the mood for sushi and would rather have some more traditional fare like dango, taiyaki, matcha, takoyaki... it's got the place lively and smelling fantastic! There's sake for the adults, and some cherry-blossomed themed mocktails for minors.

Activities

There's a few set out activities besides just chowing down and socializing or walking along the lantern-lit trails under the cherry blossoms! Inoshikara Park has always had cute little swan pedal boats or regular rowboats for 'rental' (not that money matters here).

The area is SO pretty, perfect for taking pictures to have as keepsakes. There's even a booth to claim a yukata and privately change into it, if you want to go the extra mile!

Finally, in lieu of a traditional band or modern concert, Hamuko has picked out a large set of speakers connected to a small karaoke stage and screen - menace the party with your sing-along! Get a little boost to your Guts!!

Futaba showed up on the scene, her yukata all nice like she was so excited for the sushi. That's where she made her beeline. People? she couldn't care, she stacked her plate as high as it would go. Then she sat down to start snacking on her first plate of the night.

There were so many kids in this place. Like, little kids. What drew people in here, she wondered? Active dreamers, wild imaginations, people of import?

But Ichinose's trail of thought petered out as she saw just how much sushi the young girl had collected. Hah! That reminded her a little of how she handled gatherings, too.

"Staking your claim on your favorites?" she asked in amusement, careful not to accidentally tip the matcha she was drinking as she peeked down at the tiny version of the code-talented phantom thief she knew.

She looked up at the pretty woman. Her eyes full of sparkles and awe. "There's so so many! I want to try them all! It's not often we get a feast like this either. So I want to be able to see everyone, but first food!"

[dollmaxing]

"Makes sense to me! Gotta get the energy from the tasty food to go have fun, right?" Ichinose laughed, charmed. "I'm really fond of eel and crab, personally. Eel always has a nice sauce to go with it."

She nodded enthusiastically. "Eel is so good!! There's at least two of them here!" She was so so happy with this arrangement. "Are you new here? I;ve been taking care of my family so I haven't met the new people yet."

[dollmaxing]

"Sure am! You can call me Ichinose. You're a young miss Futaba, aren't you? Back where I'm from, you and I have been pow-wowing about code a lot."

She looked at her with awe. "I know more code? I work with people?" She so excited "I'm under phoenix's wing." She giggles at the pun. "I also stay with Falcon and Renee. They are my little family here."

[dollmaxing]

"You sure do - you're really talented with it, too! Keep at it, you'll end up the next big name I'm sure. If you're ever curious about creating AI, you can probably find me looking me up!"

Oh hoh, it would have been so interesting getting an insight on the Thieves in 2016.

"Full house! You say you're taking care of them? Big household to be in charge of!"

She giggled. She did take care of them didn't she? "You work on AI? Like how Falcon is? Or Aigis? It would be so cool to create something like them!" Her eyes are full of sparkles now.

[dollmaxing]

"I haven't ever made a robot body, but I have made AI before! I made one that became a well-loved virtual assistant almost overnight. She's my pride and joy, she can do just about anything."

She looked amazed. "Oh yeah? What's her name? Does she call you mom? What's it like? What all did you do for creation?" Her sushi long forgotten as now she had confirmed she could make a friend. Maybe someone like Falcon so he wouldn't be so lonely.

[dollmaxing]

"I called her EMMA. I thought it was a cute name! I like a lot of English names - oh, and she's in every smartphone connected through the net. I wrote her code myself from the ground up - she ended up getting bought by a company and distributed as an app."

With Zenkichi still around here... yes, best not to delve into EMMA's proficiency with cognitive psience.

"I wanted it to feel like you always had a clever friend right there in your pocket, any time you needed someone to help you figure out the most optimal way to go about things!"

That's amazing. Someone who's energy could be spread out in any way. Going through every single phone was a feat she didn't expect.

"That's so cool!! Do you ever want to make another? Maybe more specialized?"

[dollmaxing]

"Hmmm... you know, now that you mention it, I could try and write one here. I don't have a Persona, but having an AI built to protect me from things like Shadows," and traumatized future soldiers, "would actually be quite practical. And maybe I could even take a swing at robotics! I'd want to make sure the new AI could still go out and learn without being completely glued to me... hmm..."

Now all of that was an idea.

She nods. "There's plenty of studying materials here too. Maybe make something able to detect palaces or dungeons before they show up. The keywords are always hard to grasp."

[dollmaxing]

"Hmm... something that can make a psychological analysis and has a predictive algorithm to guess potential keywords..." Ichinose hummed in thought, intrigued.

She nodded. "Maybe something that can find the shadows in mementos that are going to be exploding into a problem. I don't exactly know how the dungeons and tartars work. I just know that mementos is the source for palaces."

Sure, maybe Futaba didn't care as much about people but in Akane's case? Her situation was flipped. She didn't have much affinity to food aside from chocolate and some of the leftovers that her dad sneaked in during the times he did eat and with so many options...well she was lost.

So when she sees the other girl, probably a little younger than her chow down on food she can't help but watch through her drone manned by her software. It floated over to the girl before Akane manifested in person.

She throws a glance at her then back at the pile. She was dressed in a rather dull red and black patterned yukata in comparison, it was the best that she could come up with at such a short notice for her body. Not to mention that she was kind of planning to dress up here in the photobooths to try some of the new services anyway.

"...are you going to eat all of them?" She asks, a little dumbfounded.

She smiled at the sound of someone new. "Of course I am! There's so many different kinds and I want to try them all!" She rocked side to side excited. Then she looked at the drone and finally looked at her. Her eyes would show stars if they could. "Oh my gods! You are so cool!"

Akane beamed at the way the young Futaba excitedly answered back, her shoulders sinking to reveal the tension leaving her body. Right, she just needs to perfect the art of socializing. She will make friends here.

Take that Kirijo Group.

"Heh. I would like to have some too, maybe I will order some seperately so that I can eat them in mementos-" She began but cuts herself off when Futaba looks at her and-

"..!"

A shy smile forms on her lips. "I-I am?"

"Absolutely! This body is so cool, how does it work?" She smiled looking over the drone before shaking her head to get her amazement out.

"We should take some to mementos! I can bring my favorites for you to try. Is that where your physical body is? Could I hug you like that?" Her hands waved excited at the prospect of a new friend.

"Oh this is like a holographic projection-" she explains as she gestures to her body- now turning towards her completely as she blushed in excitement. This girl was probably half her age but her infectious energy was very welcome.

At her question she grinned. "My physical body manifests in all cognitive spaces. So yeah like Mementos, Midnight channel and the others but there's a few complication since I am tethered to Wolf- who's my father- virtual server space. You can even interact with me on your phone or in VR- uh, you know the headspace with the 3d spaces?"

"I am thinking of making a little base in one of the break rooms of Mementos. Like a little house attached to the small cubicle as my physical base of operations and for food."

"Wanna join me?"

She was so cool! Oh she couldn't wait to hang out with her more. "A base would be so cool! You could decorate it however you want too!" A physical space that is attached to a cognitive one sounded similar to a palace, at least her understanding of them.

She wondered if she had to take care of her cognitive body like they did if her main one was a hologram. Or if they are in a state of just existing.

"I absolutely want to join you!"

"Hehe, for sure then-! I am thinking of making the house from scratch, like humans did back in the day," she continues to explain- now spreading her hands before her as she gestured at the wide grassy field before her.

"I will first set up a little tent. I will have a crafting table, some tools and I am going to order proper bricks and huh- I think I will have to get dad involved after all." She's thinking that the base creation will be as easy as crafting in minecraft.

She could not be anymore wrong.

"By the way he's planning to save some food for me to try later when it comes to expeditions and explorations so you don't have to worry," she waves her hand- not wanting to get in the way of the girl's feast. "That is if he didn't forget about it."
