It's in the wee hours of the morning that all residents of the Velvet Room receive a message on their phones.

Good morning.

In the interest of strengthening community bonds and preventing further vandalism on what was intended as a community board, I have elected to expand the capabilities of your communications within this realm.

Every device with network capabilities may now access a specialized social network designed for your convenience.

I have been told there is a similar application in reality, but for our purposes, you may call it Flutter.

Fortunately, it is closer to what you may consider a forum or a blogging apparatus. A limited character count would undoubtedly provoke misunderstandings. Someone could state that they enjoy pancakes, and others may assume they despise waffles.

[ooc: Congratulations! You have unlocked a network. Its functions are about on par with most networks in DWRP. You can do text posts, audio posts, insert videos if the device has a camera (e.g. phones or a computer with a webcam).

The difference between network posts and IC inboxes is primarily that network posts are accessible to any character. When posting, you can clarify a post is network via post prompt or in the post title. Posts can include action and network prompts as well!]

:) My master has been frightfully vague regarding the law. Technically speaking, we've already seen one large explosion, and I'm astonished it's taken so long for any additional destruction.

Do try to be more creative, though! I've heard murmurs of plans to vandalize or otherwise demolish the Diet for months, but nothing's come of it.

Perhaps a grand fireworks display in conjunction with your Personas would be a fitting way to unleash those rebellious spirits. I'm told that is what many of you excel at by the time that gaudy cup usurps my master.

I believe his intention was to allow those who have never experienced true freedom the opportunity of self-exploration and expression within an open "sandbox."

I question the term sandbox and its applicability, however. True, as time marches on, many of those video games do become more open-ended, but if they're truly sandboxes, I believe they require more sand.

And I'd go so far as to argue that a sandbox isn't truly open! It has barriers. Restrictions. Even if you wet the sand, there's only so much you can do with it.

But I digress.

While we could enforce rules more heavily, it becomes a question of where we draw the line. Perhaps if the collective community could agree upon certain rules and restrictions, we could come to an amenable agreement.

I suppose if there was a council, Crow would be a suitable leader, but then he'd find himself grappling with even more responsibility, and that seems counterintuitive.

Honestly, I'm inclined to agree with your prior assessments. He really does need to... I believe the correct term is "unwind"?
