[MOD POST] Network Unlocked!
It's in the wee hours of the morning that all residents of the Velvet Room receive a message on their phones.
Good morning.
In the interest of strengthening community bonds and preventing further vandalism on what was intended as a community board, I have elected to expand the capabilities of your communications within this realm.
Every device with network capabilities may now access a specialized social network designed for your convenience.
I have been told there is a similar application in reality, but for our purposes, you may call it Flutter.
Fortunately, it is closer to what you may consider a forum or a blogging apparatus. A limited character count would undoubtedly provoke misunderstandings. Someone could state that they enjoy pancakes, and others may assume they despise waffles.
Please do enjoy, and best of luck on your endeavors,
Igor
P.S. While vandalism is not strictly illegal within this realm, it is important to remember that there are children present. Use your abilities wisely.
[Any attempts to respond to this post will be redirected to a Flutter post. Feel free to threadjack and gossip amongst one another. Perhaps you'll even get a reply if you're lucky...]
[ooc: Congratulations! You have unlocked a network. Its functions are about on par with most networks in DWRP. You can do text posts, audio posts, insert videos if the device has a camera (e.g. phones or a computer with a webcam).
The difference between network posts and IC inboxes is primarily that network posts are accessible to any character. When posting, you can clarify a post is network via post prompt or in the post title. Posts can include action and network prompts as well!]

Really, at this point, it's rather cyclical. One way or another, there's always some new threat and a new team of Persona users to rise to the occasion. The key difference is that my master's master isn't handing out the ability directly.
But then again, it's not as though people have really tried playing the "Persona Game" of late.

'Persona game'? Wait a moment, you wouldn't happen to know Tatsuya, would you? He mentioned the same thing as a method for obtaining a Persona.

It'd be terribly inconvenient if he gained a recollection of Personas and everything that they entail. It could throw the state of the world out of balance!
Not that I don't sympathize. Memories are a precious thing. It's no wonder he struggled to let go, even in the face of the greater good.

[He doesn't mention his own empathy for fighting against forgetting something important to him...]

Except Tatsuya, because he just couldn't let go, and this led to a string of misfortune that nearly doomed the world all over again.
In the end, he made the selfless choice, but that did render the Tatsuya of the new world without any recollection of all things demons, Shadows, and Personas. To rekindle those memories would once again put the fate of the world at risk.
Perhaps the Tatsuya Suou present here is simply before the weight of his innocent sin truly bore punishing fruit. Not that I can't relate.
One might argue that my own chosen path is equally as "selfish," but I'm much too stubborn to let that stop me.

In that regard, perhaps the Tatsuya-san of the new world and myself aren't so different. I hadn't considered it, but my actions are, in fact, an affront to everything my world currently stands for.
Is it truly so wrong to challenge it? Is there not another way for the fate of the world to kept in the balance without requiring the loss of something important?
