hey everyone (except amada and kiddos)
in case any of you aren't aware of the situation, one of the ken amadas killed falcon a couple days ago, then made a network post threatening the rest of us. so obv we need to neutralize him
i made my own post to collect ideas abt how to do that. this is part 2, and i'm gonna update this one with new info so pls save it and come back to it
THINGS WE KNOW
the most important new info is that if amada is killed, igor won't bring him back. he'll be dead forever. so killing him is back on the table in theory, though how to do that/whether we can do that is a question mark
i sent frog to ask igor & co some questions. they were p forthcoming by their standards. if anyone didn't know, they've said they didn't bring amada in. frog learned some interesting new stuff, too, such as the death thing. also: igor has less control over amada than he does over the rest of us, which we kinda already knew. when frog asked who brought amada to the velvet room if not igor, he said "he brought himself (|||❛︵❛.)" and then he didn't answer any followup questions such as, so how many other people can sense this place from the outside, and can they get in too
igor also confirmed that he would be willing to temporarily lift the restrictions on sagiri's powers to deal with amada
amada caused non-fatal harm to someone who went after him, so murder is not his *only* weapon. he can also do broken bones (* ^ ω ^) he also made it so that bone couldn't be healed, so it's a more serious issue than a lot of us are used to. that said, he's still threatened to kill any and all of us, and after falcon we should be taking that seriously
another amada wrote up this info for combat. READ THIS if you think you're likely to see combat with the psycho amada, and maybe even if you don't think so. DO NOT VOLUNTEER TO FIGHT until you've read it

lotus has said that he may be able to exert control over amada by receiving his name. he can't guarantee that it'll work tho
lotus also has another possible trick up his sleeve, more dangerous to everyone including him. frog and i know abt it tho so we can be thinking abt it, and if all else fails, we can all discuss it then
like i said above, sagiri is willing to use his god-level powers, though he hasn't explained what he would be doing w them
if igor agrees to unleash kira as well, kira might be able to possess amada and lower his defenses, and help get the rest of us out of danger
aragaki has brought up using amada's mother as a weak spot
we may be able to create rumors in sumaru that work to our advantage if we fight him there
shrike may be able to use psychic abilities to affect amadas state of mind. this is unpredictable and risky, probably best used if things are already looking grim
PREV IDEAS THAT NOW LOOK LESS GOOD
phoenix and renée have brought up swords that block regeneration. but they would have to strike a killing blow with the sword. to start with, other amada thought that might be impossible, and we also know now that a killing blow will be fatal no matter what weapon
maruki's actualization probably wouldn't work, and if it did it wouldn't stick, according to phoenix who has been actualized
FIGHTING
we're fucked if we don't at least get ready for a fight. it's gonna be rough (READ OTHER AMADA'S WRITEUP) but we've heard some thoughts
other amada is willing to train with us, starting in a few days
crow believes that bonds will be important in making wild cards stronger for upcoming battles
rose is going to look into items that pierce elemental resistance, including growing new plants w noir. the plants might or might not be ready in time
given the new info, i've cut some people from the fight list. i can vouch for the strength of most people who were in my palace. anyone else, i don't know as well. really think abt whether you're up to standard before volunteering. the current list of people who're up for a fight is as follows

As for my skillset, my main element is Almighty. I specialise in it along with Gun/Physical and other various Support skills like Dekaja, Deabilitate and Heat Riser.
I have no Elemental strengths and weaknesses. Won't deny that I am kinda annoyed by my gun and physical skills being negated out here.
I can load any of my weapons with Almighty energy, cast a heavy spell called Megidolaon and a few perks of being a shadow weapon. Like Falcon.
In retrospect, my healing capacity is ten times that of a natural human. Even in terms of my own organic parts.

I did beat Akira Kanoe's shadow monarch form, the CEO of Madicce that was actively involved during the apocalypse rampage and I am hoping he's not some distant relative or multiversal form of the Akiras here. That would be awkward to navigate through.

He shook his head and let out a quiet sigh, deciding to shelve that particular thought for later. Maybe he’d ask about this Sparrow kid some other time. If their Maruki and his Maruki had anything in common, he wasn’t sure he wanted to know the answer just yet.
Instead, he focused on the explanation Ren gave about Palaces, his eyes scanning the text again.

The description was eerily similar to Jails. Monarchs in his world ruled their cognitive prisons, fueled by the collective desires of the public rather than a singular treasure. The way Ren described the shipwrecked ruins of Japan in Shido’s Palace only made Zenkichi’s jaw tighten.]
The way you described Palaces sounds a hell of a lot like the Jails I’ve dealt with. Monarchs ruled those, and they were powered by collective desires instead of a treasure. Jails didn’t twist the landscape as much, though—most looked like exaggerated versions of real places. The castle at the center was always where the action was.
Shido’s Palace, though? That metaphor’s disgusting, but not surprising. A ship for the elite, sailing over the ruins of the world? Sounds like something he’d come up with. Most of the people in my world are already on that ship, metaphorically and literally.
[Could Palaces still exist in his world? Jails were their twisted counterpart, but that didn’t mean Palaces couldn’t be out there too, buried beneath the wreckage of cognition and despair.
Akane’s voice chimed in suddenly, pulling him from his thoughts. Her avatar popped into his visor, red headphones glowing faintly. "Hey, Wolf. That new app on your phone? The MetaNav? Yeah, I did some poking around. It’s... different from EMMA, but it’s got similar functions. Kinda like a reverse-engineered cousin."
Zenkichi blinked and pulled out his phone, the unfamiliar icon on the screen seeming to glare back at him. "MetaNav, huh?" he muttered, rubbing his thumb over the screen.
Akane nodded, leaning casually against a holographic projection of his phone. “Yeah. It’s definitely tied to the Palaces Ren’s talking about. Not universal, though—it’s more like a key. You get the right keyword, and it’ll open the door to the Palace dimension. Think of it as a focused entry point, rather than the whole Metaverse EMMA had access to.”

This MetaNav app I’ve got—does it have anything to do with entering Palaces? Seems like it’s connected from what you’re saying. Is it universal in places where cognition exists, or just keyed to specific places, universes, circumstances or people?

Let’s start with the easy answer
Akane, looked into the MetaNav’s cognitive framework. Apparently, its functions are similar to what we’ve seen with Jails and EMMA, so she’s the one who made the connection.
As for entering Jails… nah, we don’t climb through broken TVs or anything
it’s worse than that.
In our world, cognition has fully blended with reality. The areas where Jails are located? They exist as is, right in the real world. Imagine walking through a city and suddenly hitting a dead zone filled with Shadows, environmental hazards who are chasing your desires down like nothing.
That's my world. Wouldn't recommend a tour without a persona in which case those shadows will only try to kill you. Or worse.

It wasn’t always like this, though. I’ve never seen anything like your Mementos, but when EMMA first hit the scene, it had this “friend” feature. Sounded harmless, right? Except it wasn’t. Monarchs were always people who’d been kicked down, traumatized, or discredited. EMMA exploited that—fed them the tools to enact their revenge or fulfill their desires, and in turn, they’d use Jails to spread her influence.
Jails in my world are powered by collective desires, the things the public craves and fuels with their attention. Monarchs use this power to manipulate and change hearts. It starts with a keyword—someone types it into EMMA, and their Shadow Self gets yanked into the Jail. That’s where the real nightmare begins.
Shadows hunt them, steal their desires, and they’re locked in “Prison Keeps,” left in a stupor like they’re dead to the world.
The Monarch isn’t the only one in control of the Jail—it’s more like they’re a puppet for EMMA. She manipulated them into creating a network of Jails across the country. Every city, every town, ended up with a Monarch. And back when I was still just an inspector in Kyoto, all I could do was monitor the bizarre behavior of influential people with no real leads. It was frustrating to say the least.
EMMA kept things too clean, too efficient.
Now, in the present—or future, I guess—Shadow Enforcers like me go into these zones to take out the sub-monarchs (since EMMA is the main Monarch now). We even use portals for the especially dangerous spots, but it’s never-ending work. There are apps designed from the structure of EMMA now to help detect Jails and Monarchs, but EMMA still pulls the strings and in worse scenarios, even manipulates the third party creations. It can still be utilized as a weapon by her cult followings. She’s the leader of all this, her influence keeping the whole twisted system intact.
So yeah, we’ve got thousands of weapons like me now. Fifteen years of this, and I’ve barely made a dent with all the Jail owners I just imagined. Imagine the nearly 1500 municipalities in Japan, each with a Monarch at some point, each with a Jail, each one manipulating and corrupting its surroundings. Even if we have recovered 40% of those places- there are no people left there and that number constantly tilts back and forth.

So in terms of that-
EMMA for whatever reason, has access to the metaverse or the cognitive world. You can access these Jails that belong to the Monarchs by actually going to that specific location where the jail is then we need to figure out something called a "keyword."
"Keywords" were used as a way to be friends with the Monarchs or join their advertising campaign.
That's basically like- for example in Shibuya we had something called "Wonderland" shared around by this fashion designer- Alice Hiiragi and the moment you enter it- you essentially go into the metaverse in essence.
So in a way its similar to the MetaNav but as far as Akane can tell, there's no connection between the construction of the EMMA app being linked to your app.
