Greetings, everyone.

Originally, I was going to inquire about everyone's thoughts on birthdays and whether or not to adjust for time discrepancies between here and back home, but then I stumbled upon something most peculiar.

This is a real site, and it seems to be run largely by the cognitions. There are stories about us, and many of them are quite absurd.

One of the summaries is...

"Falcon struggles with whether or not to honestly answer a captcha."

And then there's...

"Aki-chan brings home a pet dinosaur and has to hide it in his closet."

There are... interesting stories about myself and some of the people I am close to. There's even a fic about Igor's supposed history as a heartbreaker.

But perhaps the most perplexing is a bizarre love triangle between Falcon, Phoenix, and the Ren that goes by Fiend.

At any rate, read at your own discretion. I think it's all rather absurd and worth a laugh, but there is the ethical concern of our likenesses being used without consent.

Despite my capability for human emotions, that is simply not something I can feel.

Despite it all, I should've seen it coming.

The incident where someone decided it was a great idea to spam my food blog with links to their... stories about myself and the leader of the Phantom thieves is one I'd rather not think too much about. Even still, it didn't feel as real back then, because it wasn't even me, just a persona I'd been forced into.

This is... well. The less said about this the better.

it's because celebrities aren't really people to them. not really. all they see is this product that they can project their fantasies onto, and you'll be very lucky if they'll take a firm 'no' at face value

it's so unreasonably stupid, too, it's the same mindset that drives people to think the pretty waitress who's always smiling

I would argue that even someone like you could love, under the right circumstances.

Aigis-san is very capable of such feelings, for instance.

But that is for you to pursue, if you feel inclined.

We should have one of the Futabas hack the site for the sake of our dignity.

This is not encouraging me to explore it, Crow. If anything, it is doing the opposite. That was nothing short of disgusting.

I don't care which one, but if one of them could take it down...

Fanfiction isn't the most realistic depiction of romantic relationships, for what it's worth.

But it is your choice and no one else's. Some people simply have no desire to pursue such relationships.

I'm not stupid, I know that, but they certainly don't encourage me to try, if people will take the most miniscule interaction I have with others and turn it into that.

Oh, believe me, I understand that all too well.

When the Niijimas visited Inaba in the summer of 2011, I had to out myself repeatedly because I didn't want to deal with certain assumptions whenever Makoto and I occupied the same space.

You and the younger Niijima? No offense to her, but people really have vivid imaginations.

At least Sae is old enough where most people don't speculate... most being the keyword, however. Since my reputation took a nosedive in my world, I've certainly heard plenty of rumors, likely intentionally so.

Not that I could rebuke them properly, then.

Thankfully, no one really reacted with hostility, but I hate that it's an assumption.

The idea that a boy and a girl merely interacting implies something romantic is utterly absurd.

I can only repeat my assertion that people have a very vivid imagination, to the detriment of others at times.

As if men and woman can't be friends. Horrible world we'd live in- well. More horrible than it already is.
