[Goro doesn't know how he got here with the weird man with the big nose who seems weirdly worried for a stranger, and he mostly just knows that he really needs to Get Home, because that's what he was doing before he was here. 

So he heads out of the door that feels like it should go where home is, and... promptly feels overwhelmingly lost. Tokyo is BIG, after all! And there's so, so many people...

But Goro is Strong and Brave and he didn't like the blue room so instead he can currently be found wandering around Shibuya and trying to find somewhere familiar.]

[It's... another little Akechi? But this one feels different. He's dressed differently, and are those fangs?

Well, time to investigate.

He clears his throat and then tentatively approaches.]

Are you lost?

[bloodboxes]

[His eyes go WIDE at seeing the other boy. He looks... kind of like him? But he's so much older. And human.

Should he admit he's lost? He doesn't really want to.]

Jus' goin' home.

[It's obvious he's lost.]

[fogboundcrow]

...Ah. I see.

[How should he handle this? He looks scared, shocked.]

Did you talk to the man with the funny nose?

[bloodboxes]

In the big blue room? I didn't like it in there.

[Does he have to go back? He doesn't want to, though.]

[fogboundcrow]

That's okay. I don't think anyone does, but...

[He runs a hand through his hair. How to put this...]

I'm not sure anyone you know is here. This is a strange world- it looks like the real Tokyo, but it's more like a parallel world. Like something out of a storybook.

[bloodboxes]

...oh. [He thinks of all of the stories he's read and the ones he's seen.] You mean... like in Featherman?

[In Featherman they always saved the day and got to go home after that, so maybe what they need to do is be heroes?]

[fogboundcrow]

Something like that.

[At least he's familiar. It'd be a shame if he wasn't, really.]

Think of it like... the strange man with the nose brought us here in order to cultivate bonds and help us grow as people.

[bloodboxes]

[It takes him a while to think that through. Most of it still doesn't make sense yet.]

...does that mean I get to be taller?

[fogboundcrow]

Well, if you eat right, I think you'll do just fine. Thankfully, everything here is free.

[He pauses, eying his little fangs.]

They even have little juice boxes with blood if that's something you'll need.

[Akechi is fine. He's always fine. There's not even a smidgeon of irony around how fine he is—at least in his mind. He's just feeling a little under the weather. And he misses his friends. He's worried about them—

Then he sees a child alone, and all other thoughts are conveniently removed from his head. How pleasant. He offers a little smile.]

Hello there. Are you lost?

[Okay, so the kid looks a little... grey. And has fangs. That's no reason not to be polite.]

[bloodboxes]

[Goro's first thought is somewhere along the line of "big human adult" and "looks like Mama?" and ends somewhere around how adults who seem nice aren't always actually nice.

He should probably stop biting his lip, but he can't put his teeth away.]

I'm trying to go home.

[pheasantboy]

[Oh, that's a pity. Like when he was a child, after his mother died. He doesn't think of it any more deeply than that.

He drops down into a crouch, tilting his head as he considers the kid's face. Grey skin and fangs, hm? That's so interesting. He doesn't seem unkind—or at all afraid.] I'm afraid you may be a little more lost than you realise. But you'll be all right. There are other children here.

Do you remember the blue room? The Velvet Room?

[bloodboxes]

[It kind of helps that the big boy isn't scared of him, but then, most people who aren't at all scared are either like him or they're bigger and stronger, so that doesn't do more than make him kind of nervous.]

...I don't want to go back there. I just want to go home.

[pheasantboy]

...I know the feeling. [His smile fades. It's so... lonely, here. Everyone is so strange. It hurts his head to talk to them.] I want to go home too. But for now, we have to wait.

It's an adventure, right? [Blurry memories of his child self, playing at being alone in the world. Nothing but games, of course.]

['It's an adventure' sounds sort of like what his mama would say when they had to go somewhere new. It wasn't always fun, though, so he focuses on something else.]

Wait for what?

[pheasantboy]

[But Akechi doesn't remember anything like that about his mother. He remembers her saying it, was in fact inspired by that to say it himself, but he doesn't recall the hair-trigger sense of alarm that had come with it.]

Did the man in the Velvet Room—Igor—did he tell you you'll go home again, eventually?

[ Goro is also Strong and Brave! And now that he can get around Inaba okay, he's allowed to go into Shibuya on his own sometimes if everyone else is busy. Just on little errands, to get a book or something. In fact, he's on his way to get a book today when, through the stream of weird people-who-aren't-people, he sees someone his height, with hair the same color as his. He's never seen someone like that before.

He approaches the person carefully. From a closer distance, they look... an awful lot like him, wow. Like the older hims, except this boy is his age! But Goro is pretty sure his teeth aren't that big and pointy. ]

Hi.

[bloodboxes]

[He brightens up at the sight of the boy his age, who seems to know where he is better than Goro does.]

Hi. You look just like me!

[He didn't THINK he had a twin...? Mama never mentioned anything like that, at least.]

[aspiringhero]

Yeah! But my teeth aren't pointy like yours. See? [ He opens his mouth and shows all his teeth, which, indeed, are just normal human teeth. He doesn't realize there's anything more to the story than big pointy teeth. ]

[bloodboxes]

[He giggles when the other boy opens his mouth like that to show off his blunt teeth. And then he copies him.]

Mine aren't all that pointy either! Mama says that's 'cause these are still my milk teeth.

[aspiringhero]

[ Goro leans in to look, fascinated. His mom never told him anything about milk teeth, so maybe it's a pointy-tooth-person thing? ]

What are milk teeth?

[bloodboxes]

They're the teeth you use to drink milk with. [Uh.] Though I don't know why. Mama just gives me straws.

[aspiringhero]

You drink milk with teeth...?

[ Goro's brow creases. He understands straws, but... ] How? Are they like snake teeth? With the... the hole? Except instead of venom you drink with them?

[bloodboxes]

[He is - now rather confused. And touches at his fang teeth just to check.]

Nuh. Uh 'on thing air'sh enny 'oles?

[aspiringhero]

[ Goro squints hard and plays the words back in his head a couple of times before he thinks he gets them. I don't think there's any holes... maybe. ]

Then how do you do it...? I just use a straw too, but I don't have pointy teeth...

[ Wait. Something belatedly occurs to him. ] If your mama... [ He wavers for a moment. He misses his mom. ] ...If she said that, does that mean you'll get even pointier teeth when you're bigger?
