I've had a question I've been meaning to ask about him for some time now, but I was too nervous to ask... but I'm going to now!

Why does his voice sound so different? Is it just me? It's so strange, it's almost like he's a different person...

Truth be told, I don't really know much about Igor-san, but it strikes me as kind of odd...

Not that it's necessarily a bad thing of course! It just stood out to me. Perhaps the Igor-san in my world is different somehow?

It would have been easy, over the last several weeks, for anyone paying attention to Masako's whereabouts to see that she keeps returning to a storefront in a more run-down area of Tokyo. Whether it was there before she arrived is immaterial - she expects it to be there now, so it is.

Where she disappears to there may be less clear, as the storefront in question is closed. But there is a certain feeling of 'cognitive space here' about the area, one easily confirmed by Masako disappearing into thin air outside the shop, one hand resting by her throat.

(She doesn't have to touch the focal point Victoria made for her, or where it would sit if she were wearing it instead of her Shadow, but when she's trying to get in alone like this, it helps.)

The storefront looks much the same in the cognitive world, except for a staircase leading down to a familiar-looking blue door. On the other side of the door is a speakeasy, done up in the correct color scheme but with a decidedly more hand-done feel to it than one might expect from the Velvet Room proper. The bar is well-stocked.

She won't mind if people stick around the main lounge area, but the places beyond, Masako will be more guarded about. Not least because it's technically someone else's bedroom she's staying in.
